When the F-150 Raptor just isn’t big enough try the F-250 MegaRaptor

If you need a big truck then you’d probably want to go with the F-150 Raptor. That 450 horsepower monster has a towing capacity of 6,000 to 8,000 pounds, making it an absolute pleasure to drive. But, we all know that certain jobs which have more requirements or need more room than what the Raptor has to offer. That’s exactly why Jeremy Dixon decided to create a truck of his own, now dubbed the MegaRaptor.

Equipped with a 6.7L PowerStroke v8 turbo Diesel engine capable of pushing out 860lb per sq foot of torque. Basically, it’s the real monster here. It was made by converting an F-250 Super Duty into what it is today, and the good news is that you could have one for yourself with only $28,000, if and only if you’ve already got a 2005-2016 F-250 you could use as the base. The total cost of the truck itself could easily push your bank account back by $70,000, so while it’s not the most affordable truck out there it’s definitely one you’d be able to do it all with. The gas tank would probably be a nightmare though, you’ve been warned!

This beast can power down a dirt road with ease; fight through flooded waters as though they were a mere puddle and it’s unlikely you’ll ever get stuck in the mud while behind the wheel. Is it practical? I’m not going to give any definite answers about that but I will say that it’s unlikely. Is it a sweet ride? You can bet your sweet a** it is. If you’re a huge fan of going mudding or you need that extra room and power for work and you’re not afraid of the ensuing gas bill, then by all means!
